Pikes Peak Regional Communications Network was established via an Intra-Governmental Agreement in 1999 to “implement and govern a regional radio network joint agency providing communications services to public safety and public service activities operating in the City of Colorado Springs and El Paso County.”

Today, PPRCN manages and maintains a multi-site, 800Mhz P25 radio system in the El Paso County area and beyond.  Under the direction and guidance of it’s stakeholder owners,  PPRCN has been upgrading it’s infrastructure to better deliver on it’s mission of providing a reliable, robust public safety and public service communications system.
